Snarl and snap

Oliver just snarled and snapped at me. It was kind of half hearted but he was digging in the bushes i the back yard and I called him to come in the house and he ignored me. I went over to get him and had a treat in my hand. He snarled and snapped at my hand but pretty quickly calmed down and let me pick him up and took treats from me. My husband is due home soon. I'm interested in seeing how he handles that.
